How many guests can I bring with me?
Our room can comfortably accommodate you and one additional guest. Please note that as we are in a spa setting, we kindly ask that young children not accompany you during your session. Thank you for your understanding.
-
How do I receive my pictures?
After your session, you’ll receive a download link by text or email to share those precious moments right away. Plus, you’ll take home a physical copy of the best shot to cherish for years!
-
When is the best time for a 3D ultrasound scan?
3D is best done between 26-32 weeks.
-
What if 3D images were not obtainable during my session?
Many factors can influence the quality of a 3D image, including the baby’s position, arms or legs covering the face, the amount of amniotic fluid, or simply having a shy baby who isn’t ready for a photo op. We’ll always do our very best to capture clear images, but if your little one is being camera-shy, we’ll be happy to have you come back within a week at a deeply discounted rate.

Are ultrasounds safe for my baby?
Ultrasound imaging has been used for many years with an excellent safety record. At Miracle Scans, whether it’s 2D or 3D, we only scan using the obstetrical application setting, where ultrasound energy is kept below FDA limits for obstetrical use.
-
Are the ultrasound technologists doing my scan certified?
Yes, each of our technologists graduated from an accredited ultrasound program and holds a degree. We are all ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certified and have extensive experience working full-time in both hospital and clinical settings. We will apply the same skills and safety standards here as we do in a hospital setting.
-
Is this considered a diagnostic ultrasound?
Not at all! 3D baby ultrasound scans are elective entertainment ultrasounds designed for parents-to-be who want to catch another glimpse of their little one’s features. Neither our 3D nor 2D ultrasound scans are intended to assess your baby’s health—this should always be done at your doctor’s office.
***Please note that these scans are not a substitute for ensuring you and your baby’s well-being. You MUST have completed your second-trimester ultrasound with your doctor to confirm that both you and the baby are healthy before booking any 3D or 2D ultrasound scans.***
